TN govt knocks down wall of Eelam war memorial

As anti-Lanka sentiments in the state peaked closer to the November 15 CHOGM in Colombo, the Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday knocked down a portion of the compound wall of a recently inaugurated memorial in Thanjavur, claiming that it was an encroachment.
